# Ritn3D

> Ritn3D is a free floor plan editor and an AI floor-plan-to-3D converter. Draw a floor plan on your phone or in a browser, trace one from a photo, or upload an existing plan — then turn it into an interactive 3D interior model you can walk through, share as a link, and export for 3D printing.

## What it does

Two things, and either one works on its own.

**Draw or trace a floor plan.** The editor is free forever with unlimited plans and no watermark on exports. Place walls by tapping, add doors and windows, curve a wall into an arc, and let Ritn3D name each room as you close it. Or load a photo or PDF of an existing plan as an underlay and trace straight over it. Export the finished plan as a JPG or PDF.

**Convert a 2D floor plan photo into an interactive 3D model.** Upload a floor plan (PDF, JPG, or PNG) and Ritn3D detects the walls, doors, windows and rooms automatically, then generates an interactive 3D interior with textured walls, realistic lighting and PBR materials. The output is a real 3D model — not a static image or flat render. You can orbit the scene from any angle, walk through individual rooms (Pro), and share a live 3D link that opens in any browser.

## Tracing an existing plan

Load a photo, screenshot or PDF into the editor as a tracing underlay and draw walls directly over it. The underlay can be hidden, dimmed or deleted once the plan is drawn. This is the route for paper plans, hand-drawn sketches, printed blueprints and listing images — anything the AI detection would struggle to read on its own. If an uploaded photo fails AI detection, Ritn3D offers "Trace it instead" so you can continue without starting over.

- **Pro+**: $19.99/month. No free trial. Everything in Pro, plus 40 renders/month and 10 GLB or STL model downloads per month (unused downloads roll over). Additional downloads $3.99 each.
- **Enterprise**: Custom pricing. Custom render volumes, white-labelled viewer, and volume pricing for real estate agencies, listing platforms, and developers. Contact sales.

The drawing editor stays free on every tier. Only 3D conversion volume is metered.

## Done-for-you service

For people who don't want to draw or upload a plan themselves, Ritn3D also offers a commissioned "we build it for you" service. Send a floor plan (PDF, photo, sketch, anything you have) and get back a walkable 3D model, the GLB and STL files, and a hosted walkthrough link. Every plan is reviewed before payment — no charge if it can't be delivered.

## Key technical details

- The editor produces exact dimensions because the user enters them directly
- On an uploaded plan, scale is inferred from the drawing, so measurements are a close estimate rather than survey-grade
- Floor plan detection works best on clean, legible plans (printed, digital, or PDF)
- Review step lets users fix anything the detection missed before generating
- 3D models include per-room lighting, PBR materials, and decorative props
- Furniture placement is drag-and-drop after the render, on Pro and Pro+, with real-world dimensions on every piece
- Wall and floor finishes can be swapped from a preset library; custom material or product SKUs are not supported
- Shared links work in any modern browser — recipients don't need the app
